Protection Operations
About Close Protection Training
In March 2006 it became illegal to work in Close Protection in the UK unless you hold a front line
Close Protection Licence. To obtain a licence you must complete a pass a course that is complaint with the specifications
as laid down by the SIA. We are fully approved to offer this standard via Edexcel.
The course covers over
150 hours of training that is necessary to apply for a licence. The course is 14 days in duration and is a combination
of classroom and practical exercises. It is an intensive course and all sections of the course must be completed to
allow you to apply for your licence.
